SISTEM PENGAMAN POWER SHAPE-CHARGE PADA FLIGHT TERMINATION SYSTEM (POWER SHAPE CHARGE SECURITY SYSTEM ON FLIGHT TERMINATION SYSTEM)

Abstract

Battery is reusable electric energy resource. Thus, the battery can be used as power for various kind of electronics equipment. The Fligt Termination System (FTS) module also uses battery as  electric energy resource. The FTS module which has been integrated in the rocket system must be controlled strictly in order to avoid accident that can be caused by switching on the battery power. (Smart system yang menjadi focus pada penelitian ini terdiri dari komponen mikrokontroller, inverter, relay, resistor, dan thyristor-belum ada terjemahan untuk ini). This research was focused on how to protect battery resource as power shape-charge in the FTS module. The research showed that  smart system usage could obstruct the activation of the relay when the battery power is switched on. 

 

Abstrak

Baterai adalah sumber energi listrik yang dapat digunakan secara berulang-ulang.  Dengan demikian, baterai dapat digunakan sebagai sumber energi listrik untuk berbagai macam peralatan elektronika. Modul Flight Termination System (FTS ) juga menggunakan baterai sebagai sumber energi listrik. Modul FTS yang telah terintegrasi dalam sistem roket harus dikontrol secara ketat agar tidak terjadi kecelakaan yang dapat ditimbulkan oleh penyalaan power modul. Hal ini disebabkan, pada saat power modul FTS dinyalakan maka akan menimbulkan logika high pada mikrokontroller yang dapat memicu aktifnya komponen elektronika. Penelitian ini fokus pada sistem proteksi sumber daya baterai sebagai pemicu sistem shape-charge pada modul FTS. Smart system yang menjadi fokus pada penelitian ini terdiri dari komponen mikrokontroller, inverter, relay, resistor, dan thyristor. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa penggunaan smart system dapat menghambat aktifnya relay yang diakibatkan oleh penyalaan power modul FTS.
