PERSERIKATAN BANGSA-BANGSA SEBAGAI SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY DALAM PROTOKOL UNIDROIT TENTANG SPACE ASSETS (SUATU ANALISIS NORMATIF)

Abstract

The united Nations is an international intergovernmental organization stipulate by a multilateral treaty entering into force on October 24, 1945. In line with progress of space activities, there is a need for a protocol on space assts. In considering draft of the protocol by UNCOPUOS some members of UNCOPUOS have propased UNCOPUOS as supervisory authority of the protocol. Taking into consideration the duty and function of such supervisory authority; this paper analyzes appropriateness of the United Nations respecting that matter.
