PENGARUH JUMLAH KATALISATOR, WAKTU REAKSI, DAN WAKTU ALIR GAS BUTADIENA TERHADAP PEMBENTUKAN HYDROXYL TERMINATED POLYBUTADIENE (HTPB)
Abstract
This research is done to zobtain polybutadiene with hydroxyl groups bonded in both end-chain. Process of polymerization butadiene to yield polybutadiene, there are many factors that effect of yields. These are period of reaction, gas flow time, and catalyst in formation of polybutadiene microstructure. HTPB is viscous, transparent liquid. From this research is obtained HTPB molecular weigh 4000-9000 gr/mol, while molecular weigh desired is 2000-5000. To take polybutadiene molecular weigh 2000-5000, compositions are solvent 60 ml, period of time 48 hours, Catalyst 1,5 gram and flow-time of gas 30 minutes. The result 1,4-cis 8,9-19,3%, 1,4-trans 6,7-10,7%, and 1,2-vinil 73-82%. For trans greater than cis, period of time is 36 hours.
