THE EXAMINATION OF THE DAILY GEOMAGNETIC COMPONENT VARIANTION PREDICTION

Abstract


The daily variation prediction model accuracy of geomagnetic components depend on the activity of geomagnetic quiet or disturbance. On the quiet activity the daily variations of geomagnetic component is only influenced by the ring current effect. While on the disturbance activity, the daily variation geomagnetic component depends on the activity of various interference effects. Among others, effects of solar activity which is caused by solar wind and geomagnetic activity. Therefore, the characteristics of the daily variation geomagnetic component is fluctuating. In respect of the above expression, this paper discusses the daily variation prediction model examination in quiet and disturbance activity geomagnetic components. By using the correlations method through conditional gauss distribution and error model. The results of examined model describe daily variation component H, D and Z in the quiet and disturbed geomagnetic activities. From the test results obtained that in general the daily variations component of H is more stable than the components D and Z.
