VERIFIKASI METODE PERHITUNGAN INDEKS T REGIONAL DENGAN UJI SEBARAN (SCATTER TEST OF INDONESIA REGIONAL INDEX T CALCULATION)

Abstract

Scatter test of Indonesia regional index T are need to be done as one of a verification process for Indonesia regional index T calculation formula. This regional Index T calculation result will be use as an input of ASAPS (Advanced Stand Alone Prediction System) software. The scatter test were used median foF2 data between 1998-2008 from Tanjungsari (6,54ºS, 107,55ºE), median foF2 data between 1986-2008 from Vanimo (2,70ºN; 141,30ºE), and monthly sunspot number (R12) between 1986-2008. The scatter test result shows that from 374 data, 59% data of index T are having a lower scatter value compare than R12 data. 40,6% data of R12 are lower than index T, and 0,3% data shows that index T and R12 scatter value are not more than 0,01 difference. With the result, the calculation formula of Indonesia regional index T are sufficient with the ionosphere condition and verified to be use as an input for ASAPS software.
