KEMUNCULAN LAPISAN E SPORADIS DI ATAS LOKA PENGAMATAN DIRGANTARA SUMEDANG DAN SINAR KOSMIK (THE APPEARENCE OF SPORADIC E LAYER OVER SPACE SPACE OBSERVATORY STATION OF SUMEDANG AND COSMIC RAY)

Abstract

Sporadic E layer (Es) can generally occur in the day time and evening, but in this paper will be discussed Es occured after sunset until sunrise. The Es appearance may be caused partly by wind shear, meteor showers, solar activity. Results of this research used Es data observation from Ionosonda in Space Obervatory Station (LPD) of Sumedang (6,91°LS; 107,84°BT) in 1998-2010 and Cosmic Ray data from the Moscow station using Neutron Monitor. From these two parameters indicate that the trend of the Es appearence have positively correlated with the intensity of cosmic rays, when solar activity decreases, the intensity of cosmic ray and the number of Es occurrences is increase.
