Abstract


It has been processed the K and C initiative PALSAR ALOS strips of Kalimantan that consist of 22 path and 277 standard images (scene) by using Gamma software. The aim of K and C initiative among others to track the carbon deposits in entire the world. In the processing it is needed ancillary data such as meta data of the satellite, sensor and SRTM DEM. The meta data can be extracted from the PALSAR data, whilst the calibrated ï³o is calculated in the radiometric calibration. The calibrated ï³o and SRTM DEM are needed to find coarse LUT and Simulated SAR very useful in fine geocoding to get fine LUT and Geometric Terrain Correction. The radar Geometric Terrain Corrected image is matched with ortho-rectified optical data.
