PENENTUAN POLA HARI TENANG UNTUK MENDAPATKAN TINGKAT GANGGUAN GEOMAGNET DI TANGERANG

Abstract


Geomagnetic disturbance level which is the indicator of the geomagnetic activity is influenced by various disturbance activities such as the disturbance effect from solar surface directly toward the earth influencing geomagnetic field. Before geomagnetic disturbance level is obtained, quiet day pattern model must be determined by using the double Fourier series. By using this model, geomagnetic disturbance level can be determine based on deviation between H component geomagnetic data from Tangerang station and model's results. Analysis result showed that deviation at maximum solar activity (in the 2000s)was lower than that of minimum solar activity (in the 1996s). Deviation value at maximum solar activity is about of 6.36 - 31.26 nT, while at minimum solar activity is about of 2.25-50.56 nT.
