FLARE BERDURASI PANJANG DAN KAITANNYA DENGAN BILANGAN SUNSPOT

Abstract

In this paper we present the relationship between long duration H-alpha flare events and suspot number during the period of 1980-2004. We counted as long duration events all those of one hour or more. It is shown that the long duration H-alpha flare events tend to trace the sunspot cycle with some anomalies
