PENELITI PEMBEBANAN BIAYA DALAM KOMERSIALISASI DATA SATELIT PENGINDERAAN JAUH

Abstract

Applications of remote sensing data have been developed by LAPAN and such data have been utulized in various field of applications. Currently, LAPAN is operating Earth Station at Pare-pare, West Sulawesi. This Eart Station has capability to receive data from LANDSAT-7. Data have been furher processed by LAPAN to produce digital data and in the from of photography. Budget for research and development of remotee sensing data application as well as for receiving and processing data is fully financed by government. In case of commercialization of remotee sensing data, users have to pay some amount of money as costs for requiring needed data. Patment of the user becomes government's income without tax. Fixing of costs that should be borne by the user need's precise calculation of all related in producing data. Amount such cost can be fixed applying "contribition cost" method This paper explain the contribution cost method which is commonly in many cases and compare it with the contribution cost method applied by LAPAN specifically.
