SISTEM MITIGASI BENCANA ALAM GUNUNG API GUNTUR MENGGUNAKAN DATA PENGINDERAAN JAUH
Abstract
Information is something very important. The alternative information can be created and selected, so that decisions can be taken effectively and efficiently with the high level of reliability and relevancy. The disaster mitigation systems towards volcano as using remote sensing data is an early effort to deliver the information to anticipate natural disasters considering the number of active volcanoes in Indonesia, one of which is located on Mount Guntur District Leles Garut regency, West Java. The hazard area location information, and changes in land cover that occur within a certain period is expected to be the material to build a system of volcanic disaster mitigation in the area and its surroundings. This can be obtained through the multitemporal analysis of remote sensing satellite data. The purpose of this paper is to provide a geomorphologi information region of volcanic disaster at Guntur Mountain region by using the remote sensing data.
