STUDI PENGARUH SPREAD F TERHADAP GANGGUAN KOMUNIKASI RADIO

Abstract

Phenomena of ionospherics irregularities such as process TIDs and spread F is a natural phenomenon that caused by increasing geomagnetic activity and gravity wave. Both events are interpretation of ionosphere pattern at that time. Such phenomena causing fluctuation of foF2 that influence radio communication frequency. This deviation causing the change of receiver antenna frequency then make a fade-out. Spread F eventsthat causing radio communication disturbance was identified from vertical foF2 from Sumedang circuit (SMD_SMD) data on February 23, 2000 and March 24, 2000. Correlation between spread F with radio communication disturbance is seen with foF2 increase of about 30 percent - 36,5 percent from its median.
