ANALISIS PERIODISITAS KUASI DUA HARIAN MEDAN MEGNET BUMI DI INDONESIA
Abstract
Quasi two-days period variation of geomagnetic field can be determined by using FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) analysis to the geomagnetic variation data that caused by ionospheric current. The data that used are geomagnetic field H-component from Biak Geomagnetic Observatory (12,18 S; 207,30 E) paired with Darwin Geomagnetic Observatory (23.13 S; 202.68 E) and from Tangerang Geomagnetic Observatory (17,6 S; 175,4 E) paired with Learmonth Geomagnetic Observatory (34,15 S; 185,02 E). From analysis by using FFT we found, it is obtained quasi two-day period variation of geomagnetic at Biak Geomagnetic Observatory with 43 and 64 hour periodicity and at Tangerang Geomagnetic Observatory with 41 and 63 hour periodicity.
