Peer Review Process

Peer Review Policy for IJReSES

1. Objective
The peer review process at IJReSES aims to ensure the publication of high-quality, rigorous, and impactful research in the fields of remote sensing and earth sciences. The process is designed to maintain the integrity of the scientific record, provide constructive feedback to authors, and uphold the standards of the journal.

2. Type of Peer Review
IJReSES employs a double-blind peer review process, where both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous to each other. This helps to ensure impartiality and fairness.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. This innovative approach allows these libraries to create permanent archives of the journal, ensuring not only the preservation of its content but also facilitating its restoration when necessary. By leveraging the collective resources and capabilities of these libraries, the LOCKSS system enhances the journal's resilience against data loss, technological obsolescence, and other forms of digital decay. Moreover, this system empowers individual libraries by giving them a direct role in safeguarding the scholarly record. It also supports the principle of open access, as it enables a wider distribution of knowledge by ensuring that critical academic resources remain available and accessible over the long term. In this way, the journal contributes to the ongoing efforts to maintain the integrity of academic work and promote its availability for future generations of researchers.
